Comments: UPDATE 10/22/07 2:45 PM: Fire is 100% contained and evacuation orders have been lifted, allowing displaced residents to return to their homes. UPDATE 10/22/07 0700 : Fire is now 260 acres and 60% contained. CHP has re-opened Hy 371 as of 0700 this morning. Over 200 residents were evacuated last night. This morning 50 residents were at the evacuation center at the Temecula Recreation center located at 30875 Rancho Vista Rd and Margarita Rd. Evacation orders will be re-evaluated this afternoon at 3pm. 1045 PM MANDITORY EVACUATIONS FOR RESIDENTS OF JOJOBA HILL RECREATIONAL PARK also known as SKP. An evacuation center is being opened at the Temecula Recreation Center located at 30875 Rancho Vista Rd and Margarita Rd.
Problems: Erratic winds 40-60 mhp. 1 home lost, 1 5th wheel with severe wind damage. Riverside County Office of Emergency Services, is assessing the damage to property this morning.
