Comments: Riverside County Firefighters responded to a report of multiple people overcome by unknown air sprayed substance at the Westerfield Mall. Firefighters at scene reported two persons that had been exposed to "Pepper Spray" and had some minor irritation. There were 3 other individuals who also were exposed to Pepper Spray but had left the scene. The two individuals exposed to the spray refused further treatment from fire personnel and were release. Riverside County Sherriff is handling the investigation on how the incident occurred. Please contact RSO for details on the cause of the incident
