Current Situation: UPDATE AND CORRECTION 4:00 PM - There were a total of eight transported (three critical, five minor), two refused treatment. For further media communication, contact Officer Meyer with the California Highway Patrol at chp15611@yahoo.com or call 951-769-2000 (California Highway Patrol San Gorgonio Pass). UPDATE 3:23 AM - There were a total of 11 patients - three critical and seven minor and one non-injury. UPDATE 3:05 PM - There were a total of eight patients that are being transported to an area hospital via ground ambulance with injuries - one critical, two moderate and five minor. CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters are on scene of a traffic collision with multiple patients. First arriving engine company reported a vehicle vs. five students. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
