Current Situation: Update 2:20 p.m.: The horse was safely rescued from the 12' hole and received only minor scratches. Incident terminated. Update 1:05 p.m. - Firefighters still on scene working with LART and Animal Control. Resources will be committed approximately one hour. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firfighters are assisting Animal Control and the Norco Large Animal Rescue Team (LART) with a trench rescue response for a horse that has fallen into a 12' X 12' hole. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
