Current Situation: Update 12:00 p.m. - One firefighter was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. Update 8:22 a.m. - Forward spread has been stopped. Firefightrers will remain on scene a minimum of three hours for overhaul. No injuries reported. Update 8:05 a.m. - Fire is now a 3rd alarm. Active fire fanned by gusty winds. CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters are on scene of a commercial fire. First arriving engine company reported a two story vacant motel with heavy fire and smoke showing. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
