Current Situation: Update: 1:18 pm - The fire was contained to a single room and its contents of a vacant structure at approximately 12:10 pm with a $2,000 loss and a $175,000 save. The cause of the fire by CAL FIRE Investigators was determined to be arson. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department wants to remind all residents to always be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious fire activity to our Arson Hotline at 800-633-2836. CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters are on scene of a residential structure fire. First arriving engine company reported light smoke showing from the rear of the structure.
