Final Update: Fire was mapped at 3.5 acres, final size. Resources will remain at scene for 1-2 hours. No injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Update 5:41 pm - The fire is approximately 4-5 acres and the forward rate of spread has stopped.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters are on scene of a wildland fire. First arriving engine company reported 3-5 acres on fire on the west side of the freeway with a slow rate of spread. Updates will be posted as information becomes available. |
