Update 4:03 pm - The fire which began in the attic had extensions into the structure. The residence was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire was determined to be from improperly discarded smoking material.
Update 2:35 pm - The fire was contained at approximately 2:33 pm. Firefighters will remain on scene for approximately 40 minutes to an hour for overhaul.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters are on scene of a working attic fire of a home in Hemet. Updates will be posted as information becomes available. |
