Current Situation: CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to a residential structure fire. First arriving engine company reported a single family dwelling, fully involved with fire. The fire was contained to the structure at approximately 2:21 am. The homeowner was transported to an area hospital via Blythe ground ambulance with minor smoke inhalation. Firefighters will remain on scene for approximately 2-3 hours for salvage and overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
