CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to a hiker rescue at Sitton Peak, 5 miles from the trailhead. Four people were hoisted from the location by helicopter 301 due to the difficult terrain. One of the four hikers suffered an ankle injury and will be transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital. |
