Current Situation: Update 6:00 p.m.: Fire is 100% contained and controlled. Update 8/5/2012 8:45 a.m. : Fire remains 95% contained and 355 acres. 2 engines and 1 fire crew assigned today. Update 4:00 p.m. - Fire now 95% contained. Full containment estimated by 6:00 p.m. on August 5th, 2012. Update 8/4/2012 8:40 a.m.: The fire remains 90% contained due to heavy fuels and burning conditions. 355 acres. Day assignment is on scene working toward constructing containment lines and patroling fire area for hot spots. Update 3:00 p.m. - The fire is now 90% contained with no change in acreage. Update 8/3/2012 @ 7:15 a.m. Today's day assignment will include 10 Engines, 10 Fire Crews, 1 Copter, 2 Water Tenders and 3 Overhead. Containment will be re-evaluated throughout the day and will be posted when information is available. Update 7:00 p.m.: The fire remains at 75% containment due to heavy fuels and burning conditions. All roads have been re-opened. Containment and control estimates will be re-evaluated tomorrow (8/3/2012) A 5-acre flare up was extinguished earlier this afternoon, bringing the acreage total to 355. No injuries reported during today's operational period. No additional updates will be posted until tomorrow morning unless significant events on the fireline warrant.
