Current Situation: CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a residential structure fire with injuries in Jurupa Valley. Upon arrival the first on-scene engine company reported an established attic fire in the living quarters of a single family home. Prior to fire department arrival, two RSO deputies rescued a civilian victim from the residence.(Contact RSO for further information) Both Deputies were transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor smoke inhalation. The civilian victim pulled from the structure was transported with critical injuries. A second civilian patient that was already outside of the home was also transported to a regional burn unit for treatment of minor injuries. The cause of the fire was determined by investigators to be accidental - motorized equipment. Firefighters will remain at the scene 1-2 hours for overhaul.
