| Current Situation: |
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters, with assistance by one engine company from Hemet City Fire Department, are on scene of a residential structure fire in San Jacinto. Upon arrival, the first engine on-scene reported heavy fire visible from the garage area of a single family home with all occupants safely evacuated. Although firefighters are made excellent progress containing the fire at 12:46 a.m., the fire had extended into the attic area of the home; extending their committment time to approximately four hours. The American Red Cross has been requested by the Incident Commander to assist four adults, two minors and a family dog that was displaced due to extensive fire damage. Updates will be posted as information becomes available. |
