Update 6:16 p.m. - The fire was quickly contained at approximately 5:25 p.m. to the travel trailer behind the residence. The trailer was completely destroyed, but a nearby boat was saved due to aggressive firefighter action. All residents were evacuated prior to firefighter arrival. No injuries reported to firefighters or civilians. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to a residential structure fire. First arriving engine company reported a single family dwelling with heavy smoke and fire showing from the rear of the structure. Updates will be posted as information becomes available. |
