Update 2:05 p.m. - rescue completed. Paramedics will evaluate the injured/stranded hikers to determine need to transport for futher treatment.
Update 12:30 p.m.: the two hikers, an adult male and an adult female have been located and have minor injuries. Firefighters will perform a technical rope rescue to reach the hikers. Firefighters will be on scene approximately two hours. Command post location is at the end of Fred Waring and Painter's Path. Additional updates will be posted as information becomes available.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene at the Bump and Grind Trail for two injured hikers. Updates will be posted as information becomes available. |
