Current Situation: Update 9:56 a.m. - Per the Incident Commander, the 1600 square foot home was completely destroyed. The fire was contained at approximately 9:38 a.m. Four residents will be displaced - two adults and two children - and American Red Cross was notified for assistance. No injuries to firefighters or civilians. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Firefighters will remain on scene for one to two hours for heavy salvage and overhaul. (Photos courtesy of Battalion Chief Alex Gregg.) Update 9:13 a.m. - Per the Incident Commander, firefighters are on scene of a working attic fire. All occupants are out of the residence. CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to a residential structure fire. First arriving engine company reported a single family residence with heavy smoke showing. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
