Current Situation: Update 10:50 a.m. Minor flame impingement to an adjacent apartment building. Aggressive action by firefighters stopped the fire from spreading to multiple structures. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a structure fire with power lines down in the area of 2nd Street and West Drive in Desert Hot Springs. Firefighters are making good progress and had the fire contained at 8:20 a.m. and will remain at the scene for overhaul operations. No injuries reported.
