Current Situation: Update 1:42 a.m.: Fire confined to garage/car port to the rear of the structures. 2nd alarm response cancelled. No injuries reported. Resourced committed two hours. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters are on scene of a multi family dwelling structure fire in Rancho Mirage. Upon arrival, the first on-scene engine company reported heavy smoke and fire visible from a mult-story condo style apartment building with evacuations in progress. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
