Current Situation: Update 1:59 p.m. - The fire was contained at approximately 1:30 p.m. Three mobile homes were completely destroyed and a fourth mobile home was partially damaged. One dog perished in the fire. At this time, there are six adults and 11 children displaced and the Incident Commander requested American Red Cross for assistance. No injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Update 1:14 p.m. - Dillon road will be closed for the duration for the incident for powerlines down. Firefighters will be committed for four hours. Update 12:36 p.m. - The double-wide is fully involved with fire with an extension into an additional single-wide mobile home. CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to a residential structure fire. First arriving engine company reported heavy smoke showing from a double-wide mobile home in the Carefree Mobile Home Park. Updates will be posted as information becomes available.
