Update 6:58 a.m. - The fire in the garage extended into the residential structure. Due to aggressive firefighter action, there was no extension to nearby structures. The fire was contained at approximately 6:33 a.m. Four residents - two adults and two children - will be displaced and American Red Cross was requested for assistance. Firefighters will remain on scene for one to two hours for salvage and overhaul. No injuries reported to firefighters or civilians. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to a residential structure fire. First arriving engine company reported a garage of a single story, single family dwelling fully involved with fire. Updates will be posted as information becomes available. |
