East End News Conference Scheduled for Safely Surrendered Baby Program |

The Riverside County Fire Department will hold a news conference to announce the designation of its Fire Stations as Safe Haven Sites under California¿s Safely Surrendered Baby law. The news conference will be held on Wednesday June 1, 2005, at 10:00 AM at Indio Fire Station #86 located at 46990 Jackson Street in Indio (TB Page 5470 G-2).
In addition to Fire Department officials, representatives from other County Departments will be on hand to discuss the benefits of having Fire Stations as Safe Haven Sites.
Interviews will be conducted in Spanish and in English.
